We have recently been recognised with a WhatClinic Patient Service Award 2020. We were one of a small number of clinics that met the high standards needed to qualify for the award. To receive the Patient Service Award 2020, the clinic should have a consistently high ServiceScore™ rating, which measures the clinic’s commitment to patient care over a whole year, and also receive exceptional feedback and reviews from potential and existing patients. This Award represents a long term dedication of our entire team and focus on creating positive patient experiences throughout their treatment journey. It’s the customer who selects our awards winners, by their clinic ratings and the feedback they leave about service and experience.

Our Clinical Lead Dr Mark Hudson-Peacock is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Laser Medical Association, the British Hair and Nail Society, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology and is certified by the Consulting Room.

Your appointments are never rushed. We will take time to explain the procedures to you, make a personalised assessment of your needs and agree a treatment plan to suit you.

Why Choose The Canterbury Skin and Laser Clinic?

At The Canterbury Skin and Laser Clinic, we offer consultations with Dermatologists, Skin and Laser Specialists, and Cosmetic Doctors who are all qualified with years of experience to ensure the treatments you receive are safe and appropriate.

Dermatologists are expert specialists, not only of the skin, but also of allergic conditions such as contact dermatitis, hair problems such as alopecia (hair loss) and nail problems such as fungal nail conditions. If you have concerns about any areas of your skin, please call to make an appointment to see one of our specialists.

In October 2010, the Government implemented a change in the regulation of providers of cosmetic laser treatments, and some surgical treatments including the use of anti-wrinkle injections such as dermal fillers and neurotoxins by totally removing these from the regulatory body, namely the Care Quality Commission, that had previously overseen standards. What this means is that anyone could now treat you with a class IV laser, or inject you with a filler, without any significant training meaning your safety will inevitably be potentially compromised. We can reassure you that The Skin and Laser Clinic remains committed to providing safe cosmetic and laser treatments in an environment that is fit for purpose, and we remain registered with, and regulated by, the Care Quality Commission.

In 2018, the Canterbury Skin and Laser Clinic joined The Dermatology Partnership. The aim of the partnership is to build the UK’s leading dermatology group, defined by its clinical excellence and focus on leading dermatological care. Since its formation, there are now eight clinics in the Dermatology Partnership, consisting of over 40 doctors.
