KENT’S LEADING PRIVATE SKIN AND LASER TREATMENT CLINIC
At The Canterbury Skin and Laser Clinic, we offer consultations with Dermatologists, Skin and Laser Specialists, and Cosmetic Doctors. Our specialists are all qualified with years of experience to ensure the treatments you receive are safe and appropriate.
Dermatologists are experts, not only of the skin, but also of allergic conditions such as contact dermatitis, hair problems such as alopecia (hair loss), and nail problems such as fungal nail conditions. If you have concerns about any of these areas, please call to make an appointment to see one of our specialist consultant dermatologists.
In October 2010, the Government implemented a change in the regulation of providers of cosmetic laser treatments, and some surgical treatments including the use of anti-wrinkle injections such as dermal fillers and neurotoxins by totally removing these from the regulatory body, namely the Care Quality Commission, that had previously overseen standards. This means that anyone could now treat you with a class IV laser, or inject you with a filler, without any significant training. We can reassure you that our clinic remains committed to providing safe cosmetic and laser treatments in an environment that is fit for purpose. We remain registered with, and regulated by, the Care Quality Commission.
