Dermal Fillers

dermal fillers kent

Hundreds of thousands of men and women in the United Kingdom get dermal filler injections yearly, making it one of the most common non-surgical cosmetic procedures. They’re a frequent way to get plump, youthful, and smooth skin by reducing the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and other indicators of ageing.

Dermal fillers work by injecting hyaluronic acid, a material naturally present in the skin, into places with low levels that may need filling or show symptoms of ageing. These semi-permanent injections, applied with a tiny needle, provide solidity and structure to the epidermis, resulting in a complete and young appearance.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in human bodies. Our bodies create less hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin as we get older, which helps explain why we start to seem older. As a result, our skin loses its youthful plumpness and elasticity and starts to seem old and wrinkled.

Hyaluronic acid, the main component of dermal fillers and a translucent gel, integrates seamlessly with the tissue after being injected into the skin to restore lost volume.

Dermal fillers can restore a youthful appearance to the skin by injecting them into problem regions such as the face, neck, and hands. Because the surgery is only temporary, you may need follow-up injections in the future to sustain the young results.

Women who are expecting or nursing should not use dermal fillers. You should wait two weeks after laser treatment or a chemical peel before having dermal fillers. Before dermal fillers may be placed, the epidermis must be fully healed. Similar skin treatments should be spaced out by at least two weeks. Dermal fillers are not recommended for use on infected or irritated skin. If you currently suffer from a skin issue at the intended treatment site, we advise against proceeding with the procedure.

BENEFITS OF DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers are a popular cosmetic procedure because of their many useful properties. These encompass:

  • Having a plumper, younger-looking epidermis
  • A reduction in age-related signs and symptoms
  • No interruption
  • Immediately observable effects
  • Scarring’s appearance improvement
  • Gradual progression over time to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Results that appear natural and delicate
  • If you are unhappy with the results, the infill can be dissolved.
Fillers made of dermal tissue are the best option if you want to:
  • Enhance the lips’ volume and definition
  • Decrease shadowing behind the eyes
  • Improve the downturned corners of the mouth
  • Decrease wrinkles around the mouth
  • Improve jowls
  • Decrease the appearance of a hooked snout
  • Diminish wrinkles around the mouth
  • Young-appearing hands
