Dermal Fillers
TEAR TROUGH FILLER KENT
Tear trough fillers, also known as under-eye fillers, are a type of dermal filler used to minimise the appearance of tear troughs, hence rejuvenating and rejuvenating the appearance of the face. They effectively fill the tear trough, masking fine lines and wrinkles and giving the impression of plumper, firmer skin. People with bags under their eyes can benefit from them.
HOW DO TEAR TROUGH FILLERS WORK?

TOP UP TREATMENTS WHERE REQUIRED
Wrinkles, skin thinning, hollows beneath the eyes, and dark circles result from age-related volume loss behind the eyes. Tear trough fillers help by replacing the volume that has been lost, which brightens the under-eye area and reduces the depth of the wrinkles. The skin’s quality improves along with the body’s ability to produce collagen and absorb nutrients.
Like other dermal fillers, hyaluronic acid is the main component of a tear trough filler, which is injected into the hollows under the eyes to restore volume and smooth away crow’s feet. The body naturally produces hyaluronic acid, stimulating collagen synthesis to preserve volume and elasticity in previously depleted areas.
At your consultation, our aesthetician will evaluate your desired goals and examine your skin to establish the best injection sites for the tear trough filler. This technique aims to make the trough less noticeable, and the face look more alert. Our experienced doctor will also check to see if the changes appear good with the rest of your face.
There is no recovery period associated with under-eye fillers; however, some patients experience mild to moderate swelling, bruising, and redness for a few days. While you may begin to see results immediately, the complete set may only be available for a few weeks. You will likely be advised to take it easy and sleep on your back for a few days.
